Who controls your data
The Snapshot Marketplace LLC is the data controller for personal data processed through Snapshot Engine. This notice explains what we collect, why we use it, and your choices.
Data we collect and why
- Account and contact data: name, email address, authentication details, and account status, used to create and secure your workspace, associate purchases, and provide the service.
- Content: prompts, uploaded document text, generated guides, funnel demos, and feedback, used to generate, store, display, and improve your requested work.
- Usage and device data: feature events, timestamps, referral and campaign data, browser or device information, and a one-way network identifier, used for security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, analytics, and product improvement.
- Support data: messages and information you provide when requesting help, used to respond and resolve issues.
Do not submit passwords, API keys, unnecessary client contact information, or other sensitive data in a prompt or uploaded document.
Legal bases
We process data as necessary to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving Snapshot Engine, comply with legal obligations, and, where required, based on your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
Who receives data
We may share relevant data with:
- hosting, authentication, AI processing, analytics, and support service providers;
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for product sales, subscription or licence management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, customer service, and refunds;
- professional advisers such as legal and accounting providers;
- authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.
We do not sell personal data.
Build links and sharing
Build links use unguessable identifiers and are not listed publicly, but anyone with a link may be able to view that build. Only share links with people you trust.
Retention
We keep account, purchase, build, and support data while needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting duties, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Specific retention periods may vary based on the data and legal requirements.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, encrypted connections, and restricted administrative access. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and local storage
Snapshot Engine uses essential browser storage for sign-in, security, saved form details, and service operation. We also use analytics data to understand visits, attribution, and feature use. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings, though doing so may sign you out or remove saved preferences. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing, and may withdraw consent. UK and EEA residents may complain to their local supervisory authority. We aim to answer valid UK and EEA requests within one month, subject to lawful extensions. Submit a request through the feedback link in the site footer.
International transfers
Service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK or EEA. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
